WWE PPV on WWE Network Season 2015 Episode 8 Battleground 2015 - St. Louis, Missouri

Battleground 2015 emanated from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and featured some of the biggest names in sports entertainment. The top three matches on the card were for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and the WWE United States Championship.

The main event of the night saw Seth Rollins defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Brock Lesnar. This match had been highly anticipated as the two superstars had been involved in a heated rivalry leading up to the event. Rollins had enlisted the help of The Authority to gain an edge over Lesnar. The match featured a lot of back and forth action but ultimately ended in controversial fashion.

John Cena also defended his WWE United States Championship against Kevin Owens. Owens had made a big impact since his debut in WWE earlier in the year and had already defeated Cena in his first match on the main roster. The two had a highly competitive match, with Owens trying to prove he was the better wrestler. The crowd was hot for this match, and it was one of the best on the card.

The WWE Intercontinental Championship was also on the line as Ryback defended against The Miz and Big Show in a triple threat match. Ryback had just won the title a few weeks prior and was looking to establish himself as a dominant champion. The Miz and Big Show had other plans, as they teamed up to try and take out Ryback early in the match. However, Ryback mounted a comeback and was able to overcome the odds to retain his championship.

Other matches on the card included a tag team match between Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, a match between Randy Orton and Sheamus, a match for the WWE Divas Championship between Nikki Bella and Charlotte, and a 20-man Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Overall, Battleground 2015 was an action-packed event that featured some of the biggest stars in WWE. With the WWE Network, fans were able to experience all of the excitement and drama from the comfort of their own homes, making it an event that was not to be missed.
