WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 was a pay-per-view event presented by WWE Network, taking place at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The event was the fifth annual edition of the show, featuring a variety of matches and storylines from the main roster brands of WWE.

The pay-per-view kicked off with a Cruiserweight Championship match between defending champion Tony Nese and challenger Akira Tozawa. The two high-flying competitors put on an impressive display of athleticism and technical wrestling, with Nese ultimately retaining his championship after hitting Tozawa with his patented Running Nese finisher.

Next up was the Raw Women's Championship match between reigning champion Becky Lynch and her challenger, Lacey Evans. The rivalry between the two had been brewing for months, with Evans constantly attacking Lynch and trying to get under her skin. The match was hard-hitting and intense, with Evans using her size and strength advantage to take control. However, Lynch was able to rally and hit Evans with a Bexploder suplex followed by her Dis-arm-her submission hold to retain her title.

The United States Championship was on the line next, as Samoa Joe defended his title against Ricochet. The high-flyer was looking to make a statement in his first major title opportunity, but Joe's intensity and submission skills proved to be too much to overcome. After a hard-fought battle, Joe locked Ricochet in his Coquina Clutch finisher, forcing him to submit and retaining his championship.

The SmackDown Tag Team Championship was up for grabs in the following match, as champions Daniel Bryan and Rowan defended against heavy metal duo Heavy Machinery. The challengers, Otis and Tucker, were fan favorites and had been gaining momentum in recent weeks, but Bryan and Rowan's experience and teamwork proved to be too much. Bryan and Rowan hit their Double Chokeslam finisher on Tucker to retain their titles.

The next match was one of the most highly-anticipated of the night, as WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defended his championship against Dolph Ziggler in a steel cage match. The rivalry between the two had been personal, with Ziggler claiming that he should have been the one to win the championship at WrestleMania instead of Kingston. The match was brutal and intense, with both men using the steel cage as a weapon. In the end, Kingston was able to hit his Trouble in Paradise finisher on Ziggler to retain his championship.

In the penultimate match of the night, Universal Champion Seth Rollins defended his title against Baron Corbin. The rivalry between the two had been contentious, with Corbin using his power and influence to gain advantages over Rollins in recent weeks. However, Rollins was able to overcome Corbin's interference and hit him with multiple Stomps to retain his championship.

Finally, the main event of the night was a Raw Women's Championship match between Becky Lynch and her longtime friend-turned-enemy, Charlotte Flair. The two had battled many times before, but the stakes were even higher this time, with both women looking to prove themselves as the top female wrestler in the company. The match was an instant classic, with both women hitting multiple finishers and utilizing their signature moves. In the end, Lynch was able to hit Flair with a second Bexploder suplex followed by her Dis-arm-her submission hold, forcing Flair to tap out and retaining her championship.

Overall, WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 was an action-packed pay-per-view event, featuring numerous exciting matches and memorable moments.
