Watch You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown

In this 8th Charles Schultz animated special about the Peanuts gang, Charlie Brown wants to run for student body president. Being dragged into Sally's class for show and tell, he notices the poster for student body president, requesting candidates. Linus supports Charlie Brown, but Lucy wishes Linus would run for office. Russell Anderson runs for president. Linus eventually "throws his hat into the ring." Despite his thumb sucking and blanket dragging habits, he becomes the frontrunner. Not even his Great Pumpkin speech could ruin the election for Linus. Once elected, Linus sets out to make good on his campaign promises.
