This film is an extravagant Hong Kong musical involving a widower father who is a magician and his three daughters who are singers and dancers who perform very well together. The father chases after a young seductress and gifts her with the daughters' salary. The film has some comedy, some unhappy moments and a lot of drama. The daughters eventually separate, deciding to take their own path; one to study ballet, one who falls in love with a composer, while the third heads to Japan to be an actress.
The question is will the girls rejoin to perform together one last time.
