Naked Weapon, also known as Chek law dak gung, was released in Hong Kong in November 2002. It is an action thriller with martial arts, sinister plots, and gorgeous female assassins. It was written by Wong Jing and directed by Tony Ching. The film stars Maggie Q, Anya Wu and Daniel Wu. The movie is written as a martial arts and mystery thriller. The plot features three female assassins who seduce their targets before killing them. They are the three graduates of a mysterious training program started by a Madame M six years earlier.
The story begins with a mysterious female who kidnaps forty preteen girls and takes them to a deserted island to train them as assassins. Their final test is a duel to the death. Only three women graduate from this training. The assassinations begin six years after the mysterious abductions of several athletic young girls. CIA agent Jack Chen has been following the trail of Madame M for years, trying to find the kidnapper of these girls.
After the three graduates begin their work, Jack knows the mysterious Madame M. is behind the killings, just as she was responsible for the kidnapppings six years earlier. Jack and his assistant watch an assassination through surveillance, and while in pursuit of the girl her car is hit by a rocket. She is then killed by a woman in a limousine, who drives away.
The two surviving assassins start a final mission. Jack has already tracked one of tham, Charlene, to her mother. He promises to restore her past by eliminating Madame M. During their final mission, the other remaining assassins and Madame M are both killed, while Charlene tries to meet Jack, who is in the hospital. Charlene defeats a Yakuza boss and escapes, finally realizing that she should be with Jack. Jack meets Charlene's mother and the movie ends with Jack and Charlene trying to meet.
