The movie Snow on Tha Bluff is considered is a reality/ drama movie depicting a real life situation. It is directed by Ramon Russell who follows the daily activity of a youth that lives a life of crime in the city of Atlanta. The plot revolves around a robber and drug dealer whose life is all about those two activities. This youth sought out the director because he wanted to make a movie showing his life experiences. The title refers to the town of Bluff in Atlanta which is known for its high crime rate and wide spread drug dealing.
Snow on Tha Bluff starts with three college students heading to the Bluff neighborhood wanting to buy drugs from their dealer. A student carries a camera with the hopes of catching the deal on film. The drug dealer they go to is named Curtis Snow. In order to complete the deal Snow takes the college students to his house where he robs them at gunpoint and takes their camera as well as money. Snow then tells one of his friends to film their day to day life in this rough neighborhood.
Snow finds out that another group is selling drugs on turf. He robs them as well as other gangs that have been selling in his area. Snow is then attached by rival gang members and gets shot. He is able to get away but is found in the street by the police. He is then arrested in connection with his previous crimes.
Curtis Snow is released from jail and goes right back to selling drugs. Snow tries to get revenge on the gang that attacked him but it does not work out according to his plan. The other gang kills his girlfriend who is also the mother of his child. Snow is now left with the task of taking care of his son alone and falls into a depression. The only way he knows how to support his son is by selling drugs.
Snow and his gang get into a shootout with the rival gang. The cops are called and everyone runs away. Snow returns home and is so angry and frustrated he trashes a room in his own home. He sits back as his small son plays in the aftermath of his anger. The ending of the movie is a scene where Snow calls an editing company to make the footage he collected into a movie.
