Better Off Ted is a satirical television show that aired on ABC from 2009 to 2010. The show follows Ted Crisp, a morally-conflicted middle manager at a soulless corporation called Veridian Dynamics. The show's second season, which aired in 2010, consists of 13 episodes. In episode 7, titled "Change We Can't Believe In," Ted and his team are tasked with creating a new line of products that are eco-friendly, but they quickly discover that Veridian Dynamics' definition of "green" is not the same as theirs.

At the beginning of the episode, Ted is approached by Veronica, his boss, who informs him that Veridian Dynamics has decided to rebrand itself as an environmentally-conscious company. As part of this rebranding effort, the company is launching a new line of eco-friendly products, and Veronica wants Ted and his team to come up with some ideas.

Ted is initially hesitant, knowing that Veridian Dynamics has a reputation for caring more about profits than the environment. However, Veronica assures him that this is a genuine effort to be more environmentally responsible and that he should take advantage of the opportunity.

Ted and his team get to work brainstorming product ideas, but they quickly discover that Veridian Dynamics' definition of "green" is not quite the same as theirs. For example, Veridian Dynamics' idea of a "windmill" is a giant fan that blows air through a field of wheat to make it look like it's being powered by wind.

Despite these setbacks, Ted and his team soldier on, coming up with a number of genuinely innovative eco-friendly products, such as a plant-based alternative to plastic bags and a bicycle helmet that doubles as a potted plant (to help with air quality).

However, as they present their ideas to Veronica and the higher-ups at Veridian Dynamics, they realize that their efforts are doomed. The company is more interested in putting a "green" spin on their existing products than in actually making a positive impact on the environment.

Ted and his team are frustrated and disappointed, but they're not surprised. They know that Veridian Dynamics is not a company that truly cares about the environment or anything else besides its bottom line.

Ultimately, the episode is a biting satire of corporate greenwashing and the ways in which companies use superficial gestures to seem environmentally friendly while continuing to prioritize profits over people and the planet.
