Ep 3. Recognize the Enemy

As the fighters continue to adjust to life in the TUF house, tensions begin to rise. The episode opens with a confrontation between two fighters who had a disagreement about their sleeping arrangements. Coaches Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber remind their teams that they need to work together in order to win.

The focus then shifts to the first fight of the episode. It features Team McGregor's Saul Rogers taking on Team Faber's active duty military representative, Chris Gruetzemacher. The coaches are shown giving their respective fighters advice before the fight, with McGregor stressing the importance of utilizing their game plan and Faber reminding his fighter to stay relaxed.

The two fighters come out swinging in the first round, with Gruetzemacher landing some heavy shots early on. However, Rogers is able to weather the storm and take the fight to the ground, where he dominates for the rest of the round. In the second round, Rogers continues to control the fight on the ground and eventually locks in a submission to win the fight.

After the fight, both coaches are shown giving their fighters feedback. McGregor praises Rogers for his ability to stay calm and execute the game plan, while Faber tells Gruetzemacher that he needs to work on his ground game.

Next, the episode shifts to a training session featuring the two coaches. They discuss the upcoming matchups and Faber expresses concern over the fact that he only has one featherweight left on his team.

Back at the TUF house, tensions continue to rise between the fighters. There is a heated argument between two fighters that eventually turns physical. The coaches are forced to intervene and separate them. Faber lectures his team about the importance of controlling their emotions and staying focused on the competition.

The second fight of the episode features Team Faber's Tom Gallicchio taking on Team McGregor's Marcin Wrzosek. The two fighters have a heated exchange during the weigh-ins, with Gallicchio getting in Wrzosek's face.

In the first round, Gallicchio is able to take Wrzosek down and control the fight on the ground. He lands some big shots and is close to finishing the fight with a submission. However, Wrzosek is able to survive and make it to the second round. In the second round, Wrzosek starts to come back and lands some big shots on the feet. However, Gallicchio is able to take him down and control the rest of the round. The fight goes to a third round, where Gallicchio again takes Wrzosek down and controls the fight on the ground. He lands some big shots and is eventually able to secure a submission victory.

After the fight, Faber is ecstatic and praises Gallicchio for his performance. McGregor is disappointed with Wrzosek's performance and tells him that he needs to work on his wrestling.

The episode ends with a preview of the next episode, which will feature a highly anticipated matchup between two of the top featherweights in the house.
