12 Angry Men
- 1 hr 36 min
The plot of this movie revolves around a murder trial. The entire drama takes place during the hottest day of the year in a small New York courtroom where 12 men, each with entirely different personalities, dispute the consequences of a young Puerto Rican man who is accused of murdering his abusive father with a knife. Angry after finding out that the young man has been deemed innocent until proven guilty, 11 men make it their goal to prove him guilty, each for a reason of their own. These men share their stories and any evidence in attempt to convict him and leave him with a death sentence in the electric chair. The 8th juror, played by Henry Fonda, disagrees and states that he believes the young man is not guilty. This creates ample conflict and is essentially where the remaining 11 men begin to share their evidence and stories.
