12 Rounds 3: Lockdown is a 2015 American action thriller film directed by Stephen Reynolds and starring Jonathan Good, Roger Cross, and Daniel Cudmore. It is the third installment in the 12 Rounds film series. The film's protagonist is John Shaw, a police detective who earns a surprise promotion to detective sergeant when his former boss is killed in the line of duty. On his first day in the new role, Shaw finds himself locked in his precinct by a group of rogue officers who are seeking incriminating evidence against their colleagues in a corruption investigation. As the lone officer on duty, Shaw must use his wits, his fists, and everything else at his disposal to survive the 12 rounds of the rogue officers' game.

The film starts with Shaw's promotion ceremony, which is cut short by a call for backup to a fellow officer. Shaw responds immediately, only to find that the call was a distraction that allowed the rogue officers to take control of the precinct. They lock down the building and start hunting their colleagues, as they believe they have evidence of their corrupt activities.

With no outside help and limited resources, Shaw must navigate the precinct's corridors and use his detective skills to find a way out. Along the way, he meets a few fellow officers who have been hiding from the rogue cops and helps them escape. However, Shaw quickly realizes that he cannot trust anyone and that the only way to survive is to play the rogue officers' game.

The 12 rounds in the game are a series of challenges that test Shaw's physical and mental abilities. The challenges range from simple tasks like finding a key or defusing a bomb to more complex ones like solving a puzzle or escaping a room. Each round is timed, and failure to complete the challenge before the time is up results in a deadly consequence.

As the rounds progress, Shaw learns more about the corruption within the precinct and the reasons why the rogue officers are so desperate to cover it up. He also discovers that his former boss was investigating the corruption and that he may have been killed because of it. Shaw sees this as an opportunity to clear his boss's name and bring the rogue officers to justice.

The final round is the most challenging and deadly of all. Shaw must face off against the leader of the rogue officers in a one-on-one fight to the death. Using all the skills and knowledge he has acquired throughout the game, Shaw emerges victorious and exposes the corrupt officers.

12 Rounds 3: Lockdown is a tense and action-packed film that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. The character of John Shaw is a likable and relatable hero who is easy to root for. The film's pacing is excellent, and the tension builds steadily throughout the 12 rounds. The action scenes are well-choreographed and realistic, with Good doing most of his stunts himself.

While not groundbreaking, 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown is an entertaining and well-made film that delivers what it promises: a thrilling and suspenseful ride that keeps the audience engaged until the very end. It may not be as memorable as some of the classic action films of the past, but it is a solid entry in the genre and a worthy addition to the 12 Rounds franchise.

12 Rounds 3: Lockdown is a 2015 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.1.
