John Cena is a police officer in New Orleans named Danny. He and his partner, and best friend, Hank get a call to go help the FBI. They have to help track down a dangerous terrorist by the name of Miles. Sam, an FBI agent, is shot by Miles while trying to make an exchange. A year goes by after Hank and Danny became detectives. Danny receives a call the exact same night as before from Miles. Miles stated that he has escaped from prison and is after revenge. Soon after the call, Miles blows up Danny's car and house. Miles decides to go after what Danny cares about the most...his girlfriend Molly. Miles captures Molly and decides to play a little game with Danny. Danny must obey the rules of the game called 12 Rounds. If he doesn't do everything that is wanted, then Molly will die. If by the 12th round, he has listened then Miles will release Molly. Danny does what is asked of him with a few changes. He and Molly are reunited at the end of the movie. 12 Rounds is full of action and crime. It will keep the audience on their toes and will maintain an interest. 12 Rounds is rated PG-13 for multiple scenes of action and violence. Parents should be aware that a lot of people are killed in this movie. It is an intense movie. Most wrestling fans are younger boys who look up to John Cena. He does play a great role in the movie 12 Rounds. Parents need to watch the movie first to see if it is something their children can see.
