A Gril named Tamiko is a 1960's romance and drama film created and directed by John Sturges. The principal score was conducted by Elmer Bernstein with a cast that includes the acting talents of Laurence Harvey and France Nuyen. The film was based upon the popular and critically acclaimed novel by author Ronald Kirkbride. The plot of the film revolves around a eurasian bachelor who is currently living miserably in Japan as a photo artist. He longs to emigrate to the United States of American but his visa is continually delayed. So to expediate the process he uses his talent with the opposite sex to get what he wants, no matter how many hearts have to be broken.
