Watch Aasha

Aasha is a 1980 Indian film. Deepak is a truck driver who offers help to a famous performer, Aasha, when her car breaks down. They become close friends, but Deepak is engaged to Mala, whom he eventually gets married to. Deepak has an accident, and all his friends and family think he's dead. Mala's mother-in-law tells Mala to leave. She goes home to her father, but more strife is added to her as he suddenly passes away. Unhappy with her life, she jumps into a river from a bridge, attempting suicide. But that ends in her staying alive, and becoming blind. Eventually she meets Deepak, finding out that he's really alive. Aasha fights for Deepak's love as well.
