"Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold" (1987) is an American adventure film that's the sequel to "King Solomon's Mines." It is also loosely based on "Alan Quatermain" by H. Rider Haggard. After the events of the first movie, Allan and his fiancée Jesse are planning to get married. Their plans are interrupted by news that Allan's missing brother is alive and has found the legendary Lost City of Gold. The couple decide to track him down.
