In this thriller, a pair of Chicago fire investigators try to find out what caused a deadly fir and in the process uncover a ring of arms dealers operating in the city. This direct-to-vide sequel stars William Baldwin, who also featured in the 1991 original, but Kurt Russell, Robert De Niro, and director Ron Howard are absent.

Backdraft 2 is a 2019 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 42 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.8.
