Watch A Pyromaniac's Love Story

A Pyromaniac's Love Story is a romantic comedy about Sergio, an assistant in a pastry shop. Sergio ends up smitten with Hattie. Hattie works nearby in her father's diner. Unfortunately, Hattie refuses to take up a relationship with Sergio unless and until he starts to earn a decent living. From this status comes the main plot of the tale: an opportunity to torch the pastry show and collect part of the insurance proceeds to live a decent life. Ultimately, Sergio declines to burn the shop, which goes up in smoke anyway. As the story progresses, Sergio is offered money to take the blame for the fire anyway.
