Watch Battle Beyond the Stars

Shad is a young farmer who lives on a peaceful planet and is absolutely determined to keep it that way. An evil dictator named Sador is bent on dominating Shad's world and bringing turmoil to it, but Shad will not let the planet go down without a fight. To assist him in his rebellion, he enlists the aid of a number of mercenaries. Saint-Exmin is a warrior who is eager to demonstrate the extent of her prowess. The Space Cowboy comes from Earth, where he is a congenial truck driver, and Gelt is a rich assassin who's on the run.
