Watch Black Book
- 2 hr 25 min
A Jewish woman, played by Rachel Steinn, was living in Holland during the 1940s. At this time Germany was occupying the area, and her family was promised they could be brought safely to Belgium, but the promises were false. She wrote their names into a black book, which she kept close to her heart. Her brothers were robbed and then murdered by the Germans, and it was all a premeditated move. Steinn escaped by swimming to safety. She joined a local resistance movement to help herself get through this difficult time. She needed to pass as an Aryan, so she dyed her hair blonde. Stein has to help get a child released from a German commander, after he is captured by the Axis forces. Her feminine wiles help the child, but Steinn ends up in a double life and becomes a toy for the Nazis.
