Watch Bottoms Up

A twenty-something bartender from the north moves to Los Angeles to help his restauranteur father who is nursing a dying restaurant. The first thing he has to learn is that his dad isn't giving him free room and board. Luckily, his uncle who is flamboyantly gay and loves the Hollywood lifestyle, offers him a place to stay. Since he's from Minnesota and has heard a lot about the ritzy Hollywood clientele and bars, he tries to get into the rich and famous lifestyle and leave his uncle as far behind as he can. In the process, he gets mixed up with a wealthy socialite that is way out of his league and who has an actor boyfriend.

While Owen tries to get out of the way of his uncle and tries to woo his new unavailable female interest, he forgets all about his sole purpose of coming to Los Angesles in the first place: his father's restaurant.
