Bunraku is a 2011 martial arts, comedy action film starring Woody Harrelson, Josh Hartnett, Gackt, Ron Perlman and Kevin McKidd. The film was directed by independent filmmaker, Guy Moshe. The plot of the film revolves around a mysterious drifter and a Japanese warrior whom both come to a great, nameless city, located somewhere along the Atlantic in the far off future where guns have been outlawed. Nicola the Woodcutter is the most powerful man in the city and through several savage twists of fate the drifter and the warrior must join forces to defeat him.
