Watch Consenting Adults

This is a high-stakes drama about what happens when your best friend has bad intentions. Priscilla and Richard Parker, the stars of the film, move into a new neighborhood and befriend their neighbors, Eddie and Kay. However, the plot thickens when the true reason why Eddie befriended them is revealed. Eddie is a flamboyant type. What Richard soon realizes is that Eddie is a mastermind of manipulation. As the story unfolds, and the drama unfolds we see Richard being put into a very vulnerable position. Eddie coerces him into wanting to be with his wife. The neighbor suggests a couple's exchange offer for one night. This 1992 film stars Kevin Kline as Richard Parker and Mary Mastrantonioas as Priscilla Parker. The deceitful neighbor Eddie Otis is played by Kevin Spacey, and his wife Kay Otis is Rebecca Miller. Forest Whitaker also has a small role. The movie was directed by Alan J. Pakula, and written by Matthew Chapman. Consenting Adults was released in 1992.
