"Convicts" is an American film from the year of 1991. A young boy, Horace, has been working at the plantation of an ailing Texan veteran of the "War Between the States," alongside a group of convicts in the year of 1902. While the convicts toil away because the government tells them to, Horace is only working for a period of six months in order to earn the $12.50 needed for a gravestone for his deceased father. "Convicts" has a total running time of one hour and 29 minutes. It is adapted from the Horton Foote play of the same name.
