Cujo is a movie based on a novel by Stephen King starring Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro. The movie opens with Cujo, a large dog, running happily through the countryside. During his play time he is bitten by a rabid bat. Donna (Dee Wallace) is engaged in an affair and has been discovered by her husband. He is not pleased. Cujo is owned by the local mechanic, Joe. As Cujo's health begins to fail, Joe's wife and son leave town to visit friends. In a fit of rage brought on by the rabies, Cujo kills Joe and his friend. Donna goes to visit the mechanic regarding her unreliable vehicle and is obviously unaware of the rabid Cujo. She arrives to the mechanics home just as her vehicle dies. She gets out of the car and is confronted by the dog. In complete shock, Donna scrambles back to the safety of the vehicle. Cujo repeatedly attacks the vehicle in an effort to kill Donna and her son. She is hopelessly trapped as the outside temperature rises. Donna and her son begin to feel the effects of the heat and start to experience dehydration. Fortunately for Donna, the local sheriff arrives to the home where Donna and her son are hopelessly trapped. However, he is no match for the big, rabid dog and is killed. Donna realizes there is no hope and makes another attempt to get to the safety of the house. She is quickly bitten by Cujo and is forced to retreat to the safety of the vehicle. However, survival drives her to face Cujo in a fierce battle. She clubs him across the head with a baseball bat that breaks, leaving a jagged edge. Cujo attacks again and is impaled by the jagged bat. Donna grabs the dead sheriff's gun, her son and heads for the safety of the house. While calling for help, Donna is confronted by a relentless Cujo diving through a window. She fires a shot, and Cujo is dead. She reunites with her husband after the carnage has ended.
