Dark Waters, which was released by Unified film organization and Dark Water Productions LLC, has a very good cast of actors and actresses. Jeffery Beach and Philp Roth produced the movie. Phillip Roth was also the director. Brett Orr and Phillip Roth wrote the screenplay. The movie begins with two divers working to repair a damaged valve on a pipe connected to an offshore oil transfer station in the Gulf of Mexico. A third member of the diving team is monitoring the divers from inside the submerged area of the transfer station when he notices something moving towards the divers. The divers are attacked by a group of great white sharks, which has been genetically designed but has escaped from their confinement area.
Dane Quatrell portrayed by Lorenzo Lamas and his partner Robin who is portrayed by Simmone Jade Mackinnon are drugged by some people who had attended a book signing for a book written by Dane Quatrell. When the two wakes up Dane is handcuffed and on a speedboat that takes him to an island where he finds Robin who had been taken to the island earlier.
Dane and Robin team up with Miklor who is portrayed by Jeffery Gorman and works for a man that Dane has known since he was a child and blames the man for the death of his father. The man who is known as Summerville explains to Dane and Robin why they were brought to the island and what he expects them to do for him. Summerville wants Dane and Robin to take him to an off shore oil transfer station so that he can find a security tape that he hopes will explain why the transfer station quit operating like it was designed to operate.
