To ensure that Sultan Amar does not break their agreement, Emir takes two og Sultan's children Saleh and Auda to live in his land with his own children Leyla and Tariq. Sultan Amar accepts and allows his children to go with Emir. When they get there, a close friendship develops between Auda and Leyla. A few years later Saleh becomes anxious to pay his father his visit and starts making his plans alone. One day a geologist called Sam comes to the area and tells Emir that he has discovered crude oil deposits in the Yellow Belt. Emir does not believe him at first but Sam convinces him with facts and promises to pay him a huge amount of money if he lets them explore the crude oil. Emir then violates the agreement he had with Sultan and allows Sam and his company to extract the oil. After using some of the money to develop his country he then sends his men to inform Sultan about the deal and asks him to join. Sultan feels betrayed and accuses Emir of violating their pact and this starts another bloody war between the tribes.
