Dead Awake is a 2010 film about a funeral parlor employee looking to uncover a 10-year-old mystery that shaped his life and left him depressed and alone. Director Omar Naim included beautiful settings and special effects that drift between eerie, creepy and surreal in a way that really enrich the visuals of the film. At a running time of 1 and 32 minutes, Dead Awake is an interesting blend of genres that should keep the audience guessing while engrossed in Dylan’s mystery, and entertained.
