Diminished Capacity is a 2008 Comedy movie directed by Terry Kinney. This movie centers around a Chicago base journalist who is suffering from memory loss. After his injury, he goes on leave from his job, and he goes back to is rural hometown. When he gets their he bonds with his uncle Rollie who has Alzheimers, and his old girlfriend. The journalist is named Cooper. Cooper goes back to his hometown to not only bond with his uncle, but also to convince him to go to a nursing home, Cooper is in no position to talk his uncle into a nursing home because he has mental problems of his own due to his injury. While there he meets his old girlfriend, who is recently divorced from the mayor, but then Rollie, Cooper, Cooper's old girlfriend, and her son are heading to Chicago to sell Rollie's rare baseball card of Frank Shulte, from the 1908 Chicago cubs. This movie is a family comedy centered around Uncle Rollie, his nephew Cooper, and a treasured baseball card.
