The British government quarantines Scotland by building a massive wall called the "Hadrian Wall" to prevent anyone from entering or leaving. The virus is called the "Reaper Virus," and it is highly contagious, and it kills anyone it infects. However, the virus starts to resurface in London, and the British government is forced to send a team of highly trained soldiers to Scotland to find a cure. The protagonist of the story is Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), a highly skilled soldier who leads the team of soldiers sent into Scotland to find a cure for the Reaper Virus. Eden was infected with the virus when she was a child and was the only survivor of the outbreak. Eden is the only person who can enter and leave Scotland because she is immune to the virus. Eden, along with her team of soldiers, enter Scotland and find a group of survivors living in the ruins of Glasgow. The group is led by Kane (Malcolm McDowell), who is a former scientist that claims to have found a cure for the virus. Eden and her team capture Kane and take him back to London to create a cure for the Reaper Virus. However, they soon discover that Kane's cure is not what it seems, and they return to Scotland to find the real cure. During their search for the cure, they encounter a group of cannibals who live in the ruins of Edinburgh, led by a man named Sol (Craig Conway). Sol and his group kidnap Eden's team and plan to use them as food. However, Eden and her team manage to escape with the help of a survivor named Cally (MyAnna Buring). Eden and her team eventually find the cure for the Reaper Virus, but not before they discover that the British Government has plans to abandon Scotland and leave everyone to die. Eden and her team must fight to get the cure back to Scotland in time to save the survivors and stop the British government's plan to abandon them.
