Daryl Chase (who’s played by actor Orlando Jones from movies like Evolution, Biker Boys, and Drumline) is a successful banker in New York. He handles international accounts for the firm that he works for. One of the biggest clients that he has is out of Mexico, and he eventually finds out that they are a cover up for a cartel of illegal drug smugglers. He is eventually caught up in a twisted situation that makes him look like he is involved with the whole thing. Chase tries to attribute everything to his job, but they don’t believe him. The innocent guy gets caught up in the mix and is framed for money laundering. The FBI is now hot on his trail. He gets approached by one CIA agent who thinks that Chase’s “connections” with the drug lords in Mexico may be of some help. But when the banker’s local contact goes away, he find himself having to leave the country to preserve his own life and to try to clear all of the tarnish from his name. Chase needs a passport and ends up buying one that’s stolen. As if he needed more complications, the name on the passport is from a guy who is in even an even deeper mess with the authorities than he is. He desperately needs to get out of town, and the only way is to ask his street-smart friend and hustler Freddie Tiffany for help. Tiffany (who is played by well-known actor and comedian Eddie Griffin from films like Undercover Brother and John Q) is willing to pose as the business-smart banker while Chase pretends to be the hustler from the hood. Over time, Chase finds out that Tiffany has secrets of his own, and the ride gets wilder and crazier as the two head towards the border.
