Double Trouble is a 1984 action-comedy film that stars the dynamic duo of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. Directed by Enzo Barboni, the movie follows the antics of two identical twins, John "Johnny" and Boomer, who are brought together for a dangerous mission in the United States. Johnny is a professional musician who travels all over the world, while Boomer is a former star athlete who is now working in a small town in Texas. Despite being identical twins, the two couldn't be more different from one another. Johnny is charming, witty, and loves to flirt with the ladies, while Boomer is reserved, stoic, and has a no-nonsense attitude.

Their worlds collide when Johnny is mistaken for Boomer and is kidnapped by a group of men who believe him to be the retired athlete. Boomer is approached by the FBI, who ask for his help in rescuing his twin brother and stopping a gang of art smugglers who are using the band's tour as a cover-up for their illegal activities.

With no other options available, Boomer agrees to go undercover as his brother and join the band on their tour. As they travel across the country, the two brothers face multiple obstacles and surprises, including a feisty female reporter named Misty, who becomes Johnny's love interest, and various members of the art-smuggling gang who are constantly trying to thwart their plans.

The chemistry between Terence Hill and Bud Spencer is as endearing as ever, and their comedic timing is spot-on. They deliver hilarious one-liners and amusing physical gags that keep the audience entertained throughout the entire film. April Clough also provides a solid performance as Misty, the headstrong reporter who initially clashes with Johnny but eventually falls for him.

The film features a plethora of extravagant car chases, fistfights, and shootouts that are typical of the classic spaghetti western comedies, which were made famous by Hill and Spencer. However, the movie also has a few notable twists and turns, making it a more complex and dynamic story than some of their previous movies.

Overall, Double Trouble is a fun and lighthearted action movie that showcases the charm and charisma of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. While it may not be the most memorable or groundbreaking film of its time, it is sure to provide ample entertainment to fans of the genre.

Double Trouble is a 2011 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 43 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 7.1.
