Erased is a 2012 action thriller movie which stars Aaron Eckhart, Nick Alachiotis, and Liana Liberato. The movie revolves around an ex-CIA agent named Ben Logan, who moves to Belgium along with his daughter Amy. Ben starts working for a security firm called the Halgate Group, which specializes in cyber-security. Amy, on the other hand, becomes a student at an international school.

However, things take a turn for the worse when Ben discovers a flaw in Halgate Group's security software, which could potentially compromise their clients' data. He tries to alert his seniors about it but is brushed off. Later that night, when Ben and Amy reach home, they find their house ransacked and all their belongings gone. Ben soon realizes that someone is trying to erase his existence and he has nowhere to turn to for help as all his colleagues at Halgate Group have been killed.

The main plot of the movie revolves around Ben Logan's fight for survival as he tries to protect himself and his daughter from unknown assailants who are after him. In his quest for answers, Logan discovers that he has been working for a rogue organization, and his knowledge of their operations makes him a liability to them. Instead of waiting to be hunted down, Logan takes the situation into his own hands and tries to unravel the conspiracy surrounding him.

Logan is initially reluctant to involve his daughter, Amy, in his dangerous mission but circumstances force him to bring her along. Their father-daughter bond adds an emotional element to the movie and adds depth to their characters. Throughout the movie, Logan and Amy struggle to survive in a foreign country where they have no one to turn to.

The movie is a cat and mouse game between Logan and the people behind the conspiracy. Logan is not only hunted but also framed for crimes he did not commit. The movie has several action scenes that are well choreographed and keep the audience engaged. The protagonist's character, Ben Logan, is played by Aaron Eckhart, who does justice to the role of an ex-CIA agent who is resourceful, analytical, and a skilled fighter.

Liana Liberato, who plays Amy, the daughter of Logan, also puts up a commendable performance as a teenage girl who is trying to understand the gravity of the situation she finds herself in. Despite being a student at an international school, Amy is quick to adapt to the harsh realities of their situation and helps her father when needed.

Additionally, the movie’s pacing is just right – not too slow and not too fast – giving the audience enough time to understand the situation and get invested in the characters. The cinematography is done well, and the beautiful city of Brussels is captured splendidly.

Overall, Erased is a well-crafted action thriller movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It features excellent performances from the lead actors and has a gripping storyline that will keep the audience engaged. The age-old trope of a man trying to save his family from harm is executed deftly, and the addition of an adolescent daughter makes the stakes higher. The action, drama, and suspense are all balanced perfectly, making Erased a movie worth watching.

Erased is a 2015 drama with a runtime of 18 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.0 and a MetaScore of 34.
