


Peter is very skeptical about what Wendy tells him, even though she confesses to be the same Wendy who first found Peter's shadow in the nursery. During the night, Tinker Bell appears and takes Peter back to Neverland. Peter, who is now a grown up, encounters the band of Lost Boys who do not believe he is their Peter because he does not even have the ability to fly. The Lost Boys challenge him to activities their Peter would be able to do without a problem. Tinker Bell works with Peter to help him regain his memories and also his ability to fly. Eventually the Lost Boys are convinced that it is the real Peter who has returned to them.
Hook tries to befriend Jack by using Jack's unhappiness with his father against him. When Peter does finally come to rescue Jack and Maggie, he finds he cannot get Jack away from Hook because of Jack's disappointment in his father. As a pirate adventure the movie has plenty of swashbuckling action with sword fights. It also has some elements of comedy when grown up Peter encounters the Lost Boys. Grown up Peter has trouble navigating the smaller areas of the tree house. Basically, the story takes a man who works in the real world and places him in a fantasy adventure where he has the chance to become a hero.
