Minority Report is a case of the classic science fiction thrillers that Steven Spielberg has become famous for. This is a creative action-packed thriller with plenty of plot twists that will keep you guessing to the very end. This film is a creative philosophical discussion on free will and predestination and a tribute to both classic mystery stories and modern thrillers. John Anderton, played by Tom Cruise, is the captain of a special police division known as "Precrime". Using physic predictions, this controversial law enforcement agency is able to predict crimes before they happen, and apprehend suspects based on what they will do in the future. The tables are turned when this decorated officer is accused of a murder that is yet to take place. Determined to prove his innocence, John Anderton becomes a fugitive and runs from the very officers he once worked with. Danny Witmar, played by Collin Farrell, and Lamar Burgess, played by Max von Sydow, do everything in their power to bring Andterton to justice, but capturing a decorated officer proves to be no easy task. On his journey Anderton soon discovers that justice is not as black and white as he once believed and finds himself breaking the law in order to clear his name. Allies are hard to find for a rogue cop trying to hide in the crime underworld. As Anderton struggles to create a new identity for himself he crosses paths with some of the very criminals he sent to prison and pays the price for it. With time running out until his suspected murder, Anderton breaks back into the Precrime facility in a desperate attempt to find answers. There he kidnaps a physic "Precog" known as Agatha, played by Samantha Morton, but Anderton is not prepared for answers he uncovers. Is this a government set up, an error in the system, or will Anderton’s efforts to prove his innocence turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy?
