Watch The Crazy Ones

The Crazy Ones is a comedy television series that aired on CBS from September 2013 to April 2014. The show stars Robin Williams as Simon Roberts, the eccentric founder of an advertising agency called Roberts & Roberts, and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Sydney Roberts, his daughter and creative director of the agency. The ensemble cast also includes James Wolk as Zach Cropper, the charming and ambitious copywriter, Hamish Linklater as Andrew Keaneally, the uptight and humorless accounts executive, and Amanda Setton as Lauren Slotsky, the ditzy and social media-obsessed receptionist.

The show follows the daily operations of the agency as Simon, Sydney, and their team work to create groundbreaking ad campaigns for their clients while navigating the challenges of the advertising industry and their personal lives. Simon is a creative genius who often comes up with wacky ideas that push the boundaries of what is socially acceptable, while Sydney tries to keep him in check and maintain a professional image for the agency. Zach is the charming golden boy of the agency who uses his good looks and charisma to win over clients, while Andrew is the by-the-book accounts executive who often clashes with Simon's unorthodox methods. Lauren is the receptionist who is constantly glued to her phone and social media accounts, providing comic relief with her clueless and often inappropriate comments.

Throughout the series, the team works on campaigns for a range of clients, from a fast food chain to a luxury car brand. They also face off against rival agencies and deal with personal issues such as family drama, romantic relationships, and identity crises. Notable guest stars include Brad Garrett as Simon's arch-nemesis and fellow ad man, and Kelly Clarkson as a client looking for a new image.

The Crazy Ones is known for its witty humor and fast-paced dialogue, as well as its impressive cast and guest stars. Robin Williams' performance as Simon showcases his comedic genius and improv skills, while Sarah Michelle Gellar proves she is more than a dramatic actress with her comedic timing and chemistry with Williams. James Wolk also shines as the charming and ambitious copywriter, and Hamish Linklater provides a great foil for Williams' zany character as the uptight accounts executive.

Despite its star power and strong comedic writing, The Crazy Ones struggled with low ratings and was cancelled after just one season. However, it remains a beloved cult favorite among fans who appreciate its clever humor and heartwarming moments.
