Keep Watching is a 2017 horror-thriller film directed by Sean Carter and written by Joseph Dembner. The movie stars Bella Thorne, Chandler Riggs, Ioan Gruffudd, and Natalie Martinez in leading roles. The plot of the movie revolves around a family that becomes the target of a group of intruders while being filmed for a live streaming reality show. The movie starts with the introduction of the main characters - the Johnson family - who are a seemingly happy and normal family. The family members are shown to be getting ready for the Christmas holidays, decorating their house, and preparing for a dinner party.

However, things take a dark turn when the family starts receiving anonymous messages and phone calls, informing them that they are being watched. The family initially brushes off the warnings as a prank, but soon realize that they are not alone in their house. A group of masked intruders break into their house and begin terrorizing the family.

The Johnsons soon realize that they are part of a twisted game being streamed live on the internet for millions to watch. As the intruders continue to taunt and torture the family, the family members must find a way to survive and escape the deadly game.

Bella Thorne plays the role of Jamie, the teenage daughter of the family, who is shown to be rebellious and detached from her family. Chandler Riggs plays the role of John, the Johnson's young son, who is initially portrayed as being afraid of the intruders but eventually becomes one of the strongest characters in the movie. Ioan Gruffudd plays the role of Carl, the head of the family, who is determined to protect his family at any cost.

The movie is filmed entirely in the Johnson's house, which is both a strength and a weakness. On one hand, it creates a claustrophobic and intense atmosphere, but on the other hand, it limits the scope of the movie, making it feel like an extended episode of a television show.

The concept of the movie is intriguing, as it takes the ideas of reality TV and social media and turns them on their head. The premise of a live-streamed home invasion thriller is both terrifying and timely, given how reliant people are on social media and their constant need for being watched.

However, despite the intriguing concept, the movie falls short when it comes to execution. The script is predictable, and the characters are one-dimensional, which makes it hard for the audience to root for them. The movie also relies heavily on jump scares and gore to create a sense of unease, which can feel repetitive and tiresome.

Overall, Keep Watching is a mediocre horror movie that fails to live up to its potential. While the concept is original, the execution falls short due to predictable writing and one-dimensional characters. The movie does have some tense moments and decent performances, but it ultimately ends up feeling like a missed opportunity.

Keep Watching is a 2017 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 29 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.3.
