Killer Elite is a film with a wide variety of twists and turns that viewers should be careful to watch closely. For fans of action movies with plenty of fight scenes, this movie has it all. It opens up with Danny (Jason Statham), Hunter (Robert De Niro), Meier (Aden Young) and Davies (Dominic Purcell) doing a job in 1980 in Mexico. While the killers do get it done, Danny kills the man in front of that man's son. Shaken, Danny decides to retire, returning back to Australia. A year later though, Danny is informed that Hunter took a job and couldn't complete it, which puts his life in danger. So Danny decides to help his old friend and finish things. Danny is introduced to an ousted king from Oman, a Sheikh, who wants three former SAS members assassinated. These men killed three of the Sheikh's sons during the Dhofar Rebellion, and he wants vengeance. Danny must make the deaths look accidental, and he must get their confessions on tape for the job to be complete. So he agrees and hooks back up with Meier and Davies to get the job done. The killers move out, making plans to complete the job, but at the same time there is news on the way to the Feathermen, a secret cabal of former SAS operatives the guard their own. What ensues is a game of cat and mouse with the assassins going round and round with former government black ops. The three confessions are taped and presented, and Hunter is released, but a secret, fourth member is found. Danny gets back into the action to take out the fourth target, but before he can provide proof to the Shiekh the Feathermen's chief enforcer Spike Logan (Clive Owen) presents himself and stabs the old man to death. He takes the money, and is chased down by Danny and Hunter, who let him go and suggest he start a new life somewhere.
