Little Big League is a family sports film directed by Andrew Scheinman. This film is about Billy Heywood (played by Luke Edwards) and his single Mom Jenny (played by Ashley Crow). The Grandfather of the family, Thomas is the owner of the baseball team the Minnesota Twins. The team is having troubles and is currently in last place in their division. Though the team is in last place, Billy and his Grandfather still believes the team can better themselves and become a better team with hard work. An unfortunate event occurs where the Grandfather dies leaving Billy the team to him in his will. With much enthusiasm from Billy, whom is now the owner of the team, Billy is the most crucial player in making the team a success. Though he is a minor still, the staff is to help him in any way they can to help run the team. George O’Farell, the team’s manager is not happy about having to work under a child, and reluctantly agrees to help. After insulting Billy, he is fired and there is trouble finding a new manager. Billy promises that the team will improve with his help, but if it does not he will step down as the new manager. Billy runs in to problems with his new management position when one of his players becomes involved with his Mother. While on the road with the team he becomes more of a coach then a kid. So his grades, his homework, and his other responsibilities begin to lack making his mother unhappy with him. Somehow Billy must learn to balance the two if he would like to continue being the coach of the Minnesota Twins, and still make his mother, his team, and himself happy.

Description
