Little Soldier Zhang Ga is a Chinese animated film that uses a well known, classic true story as its plot. The story revolves around a little boy named Zhang Ga who is thrust into the middle of both the Chinese Civil War and the Second Sino-Japanese War. Zhang Ga fights to save his home and people from Japanese warriors who have invaded his home. The movie is based on the real life story of Chinese citizen Yan Xiufeng, who was known as Gazi as child and was born in Baiyangdian in the Hebei Province. This animated film features beautiful illustrations.
