Looop Lapeta is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Aakash Bhatia and produced by Atul Kasbekar's production company, Ellipsis Entertainment. Starring Taapsee Pannu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, this edge-of-the-seat suspense thriller is adapted from the 1998 German film Run Lola Run. Sartaj (Tahir Raj Bhasin) and his girlfriend Savi (Taapsee Pannu) are two rebels without a cause, stuck in a dead-end rut in Goa. Savi is a tattoo artist who dreams of getting her own studio one day and Sartaj rues a missed opportunity in his life. When fate throws a curveball in their lives, they realize that they have only a few hours to save themselves from a dangerous underworld don, Baster (Dibyendu Bhattacharya).

In a race against time, Savi and Sartaj find themselves in a desperate situation where they have to retrieve a huge amount of money stolen by Sartaj from Baster's goons. After accidentally killing one of the goons, they end up being chased by the police and the goons, and must find a way to replace the stolen money or face certain death.

The film is an intense and thrilling ride, with Taapsee Pannu playing a feisty and fearless Savi who keeps the audience hooked with her brave attitude and quick thinking. Tahir Raj Bhasin, on the other hand, plays the character of Sartaj with conviction, portraying a subdued man who is desperate to save himself from the mess he has created.

The direction by Aakash Bhatia keeps the momentum of the film going, never letting up on the tension or action. The screenplay by Vinay Chhawal and Ketan Pedgaonkar is taut and well-paced, with a well-thought-out plot that keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat.

The film also has a strong supporting cast, including Shivani Raghuvanshi, who plays a police officer chasing Savi and Sartaj, and Sharat Saxena, who plays a menacing henchman of Baster.

The music by Sameer Uddin is an added bonus, with some catchy tracks that give the film a fresh and youthful vibe. The cinematography by Saurabh Goswami is also noteworthy, capturing the lush greenery of Goa in all its glory, while also adding a grungy feel to the film.

Looop Lapeta offers an adrenaline-fueled experience from start to finish, with its cleverly written and executed plot, fast-paced action sequences, and unforgettable characters. It's a must-watch for anyone who loves a good thriller, and a true testament to the power of great filmmaking.
