An African-American squatter, an elderly woman named Lilly Cooper, claims that she is the rightful owner of the land. Sarah is anxious to keep the land in its original state, while Wanda wants to make a quick sale and realize the profits. Sarah's teenage daughter takes it upon herself to investigate the woman's background and determine the legitimacy of her claim in order for her family to move ahead.
