The movie monster is about the life of convicted serial killer Aileen Wuornos. She was a prostitute that killed six men. Aileen is played by actress Charlize Theron and her lover is played by Christina Ricci. The movie is based off of a true story. The film follows Aileen from the time she met her lover Selby. At this time Aileen was working as a prostitute. Aileen claims she is raped by a truck driver and kills him in self defense. She tells Selby what she has done and decides to quit working as a prostitute. Due to her lack of education and work experience she returns to the streets in order to pay the bills. Aileen out of anger continues to kill the men that she picks up. Each murder is more violent then the last. She lets one man live when he admits he was never with a prostitute before. After she kills the men she steals their money and valuables. She then goes back to her hotel room to be with Selby. Aileen and Selby are living the good life for a little while. They go out on dates and live off of the money that Aileen steals from her victims. Selby sees a story in the newspaper and the murders and begins to suspect Aileen as the killer. They have a fight over the matter and Selby returns to her family out of state. After some time Aileen is arrested for the murders. Selby goes to visit her in jail. To protect Selby from legal trouble Aileen confesses to the murders. She is given the death sentence and is sent to death row.

Description
