All of Earth's resources are gone and mining is carried out in space. The moons, other planets and asteroids are now mined for the metal necessary for civilization. Suddenly, as resources in space are depleted, the mining robot ships go missing. Prisoners are sent to defend a mining base and a spy is among them.

Scarce resources force mining into space. Once those resources become rare the fighting begins over what is left.
