Mr. Nobody is a surrealist take on a science fiction drama, Nemo Nobody, is a 118 year old man, the last unmodified human, living in an apparent utopian future where people no longer die of biological reasons. He seems to not understand when it is, and his doctor and a journalist try to get him To remember, while the media fixate on him as a curiosity.

The opening of the film the viewer is bombarded with contradictory images, of an adult Nemo in one hopelessly bleak situation after another, then jump to 118 year old Nemo explaining his life. He tells the journalist that by not making any choices in his life all the possibilities were open to him. Nemo continues to describe his life as if every possible out come were equally real, leading the journalist to ask which version was the truth.

This story deals with ideas about the nature and singularity of time, as well as chaos and string theory, these are a way to convey the deeper message that making choices is a way to try an control a world there is really no way of controlling.
