"Nirvana" is a 1997 Italian science fiction film directed by Gabriele Salvatores, and starring Christopher Lambert, Diego Abantanuono, Sergio Rubinin, and Stefania Rocca. "Nirvana" tells the story of the life of Jimi, a virtual reality game designer who has recently discovered that the main character of his game, Solo, has obtained sentience as a result from an attack by a computer virus. Solo asks Jimi to delete him from the game before it's release on Christmas Day. In order to do this, Jimi must erase the game from his boss's computer. Jimi uses this quest as a chance to regain his happiness by searching for his estranged wife, Lisa, who left him.
