One Last Score is a 1999 heist movie, directed by Anthony Hickox and starring Matthew Modine, David Keith, and John Hurt. The movie follows a group of retired crooks who decide to pull off one last heist to make their golden years more comfortable. But as with any heist, things soon go awry, forcing the team to improvise, adapt, and overcome in order to secure their prize.

The movie opens with Max (Matthew Modine), a disgruntled retiree who is fed up with living on a fixed income. His friend, Billy (David Keith), a former con man, suggests that they get the gang back together and pull off one final heist. Max is hesitant at first, but with some convincing, he eventually agrees.

The rest of the team consists of Sammy (John Hurt), an explosives expert, and Addie (Mary Crosby), a seductive thief. The group meets up and starts planning the heist, which involves stealing a priceless diamond from a high-security vault. As they plan, they have to deal with a number of obstacles, including Max's estranged daughter, a rival gang that's also after the diamond, and the fact that they're all decades older than they were during their criminal heyday.

Despite the setbacks, the group is determined to succeed, and they put their plan into action. Using their wits and their old-school criminal tactics, they manage to get past the security measures and get their hands on the diamond. However, as they try to make their escape, they're confronted by the rival gang and forced into a tense standoff.

What follows is a thrilling, action-packed conclusion that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. With their lives on the line, the team pulls out all the stops to secure their prize and outsmart their opponents.

One Last Score is a movie that's packed with action, humor, and suspense. The chemistry between the actors is fantastic, and the movie is well-paced, never feeling slow or draggy. The heist itself is cleverly planned and executed, and the tension is ratcheted up to nail-biting levels by the time the team faces their final showdown.

The movie also manages to explore some deeper themes, including the isolation and loneliness that can come with old age. Max, in particular, is a character who's struggling to find his place in the world and to be seen as more than just an old man. His interactions with his daughter (played by Gretchen Mol) are especially poignant, as he tries to reconnect with her while also hiding the fact that he's planning a heist.

Overall, One Last Score is an entertaining heist movie that's well worth watching. It's a great showcase for its talented cast, and it delivers plenty of thrills and excitement. If you're a fan of the genre, or just looking for a fun action movie with a bit of heart, then this is one score that's definitely worth checking out.
