Watch Police Story

Police Story features Jackie Chan as Sergeant "Kevin" Chan Ka-Kui with the Hong Kong police department. The movie was very successful and spawned several sequels. Throughout the movie Ka-Kui battles Chu Tao, the crime lord who controls much of Hong Kong's illegal and underground activities. The movie opens with a spectacular chase scene through the slums of the city, destroying dozens of homes and shanties in the process. Ka-Kui becomes responsible for Tao's beautiful, young secretary, Selina Fong, who is willing to testify against him. This causes conflict with his girlfriend who cannot learn the identify of the girl.

Tao's men capture Fong, and lead Ka-Kui into a trap. The ensuing battle manages to destroy a large portion of a shopping mall. The action is typical Jackie Chan, with death-defying stunts and large numbers of what he refers to as his "stunt monkeys" fighting each other for what seems as hours on end.

Police Story is an Action, Crime, Thriller movie that was released in 1985 and has a run time of 1 hr 41 min. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 7.6 and a MetaScore of 78.
