Two very different men cross paths to join each other on the road to remiss and search for their lost love and talents by performing together in rhythm and blues. Each man comes from different worlds but they share their need for a spiritual journey. They travel almost 1000 miles through large cities and small towns in Texas. During their journey they run into lost ex loves and old foes.

Ultimately, the two become best friends and learn the dark secrets and troubling past of each other as they help each other work through their inner demons to both regain what they once lost and also begin a new chapter in life.
