This movie is in the Action/Thriller genre. The movie starts when law student, Charlie, decides to get a cab and find a place to eat while waiting for his car to be repaired. Unfortunately the cab driver thinks Charlie is a high roller from Atlantic City and takes him to a hidden casino and bar. While at the casino Charlie gets on the bad side of Denny, son of a local mob boss. A fight ensues and Denny falls, striking his head on a counter. The blow to the head kills Denny, leaving Charlie to take the blame for the death. Denny's father, the mob boss who owns the casino and most of the local police, is furious and puts a $50,000 reward out for Charlie dead or alive. Both the henchmen of the mob boss and the local police go after him in an effort to collect the money. Charlie apparently has only one person on his side, Karen. She was a reluctant witness of the argument, ensuing fight and Denny's fatal fall. The body count climbs in this deadly game of hide and seek, as bowling pins, shrapnel and bullets are dodged by Charlie and Karen. The police and mobsters pursue Charlie, Karen and, most importantly, the bounty throughout the town, leaving destruction in their wake. Charlie finally has a confrontation with the father and the chase is brought to an end. The movie Run is a 1991 film that is rated R and has a run time of 1 hour 31 minutes. It was directed by Geoff Burrowes, written by Dennis Shryack and Michael Blodgett and stars Patrick Dempsey, Kelly Preston and Ken Pogue.
