San Bernardino has a long history
as a railroad town. It's been a home
to the Santa Fe, now the BNSF railway
since the 1800's. Their "A" and "B"
yards provide plenty of action.
We'll view Amtrak's Southwest Chief at
Rana and catch 4-8-4 #3571 at the San
Bernardino 2011 and 2014 Railroad Days.
The BNSF Signal Dept.
puts on quite a display.
The historic Santa Fe depot and
museum is a must see, and we'll take
a tour!
