Secret Ceremony

"It's time to speak of unspoken things..."

This film is based upon the life of a working woman who has struggled throughout her adult life after the death of her daughter. She is very poor and meets a young girl that is also poor and doesn't have a stable family life. The woman and the young girl form a bond that is very strong and they begin to help each other put together the pieces of each other's fractured lives. The young girl suffers from mental illness and she mistakes the older woman for her mother. The woman becomes very protective of the girl and tries to save her from an unhealthy family life.
